Not til your 30!

My brother's wedding was a couple weeks ago, and Rachel was the flower girl, of course! The ring bearer was from the bride's side of the family and his name was Caleb. Rachel and Caleb were attached at the hip almost the whole time. I made her sit to eat and then she kept asking me where "her boy" was. It was really cute, but it also made me a little sad. I know it will be a while before it happens, hopefully when she's 30, but I wasn't ready for Rachel to be thinking about getting married! Her and Caleb practiced at my brother's wedding and they even danced together, it was quite cute. Here are some photos of the future couple. Enjoy!

Our Studious Learner!

This was too cute! Jayden has now mastered the chair and will just climb on it, sit and read or play at the little table. She thinks she's so big when she does this and she's so proud of herself.

I know the books upside down, but hey it's still stinkin cute!!
Jayden is also very stylish. Her newest trend is the shape sorter on her head...I know, why didn't we think of it first?? I love this giraffe outfit. It also has a cute hat and gloves that go with it. I'll have to put those on her when it's a little cooler outside. Thanks to big sis for all the stylish clothes!
Thanks for looking at yet MORE photos of Jayden!

What kind of weather is this?

Yesterday's weather could not make up it's mind! It was mostly rainy, a little sunny and yes, even hailing!!!

Our poor pool was starting to overflow!
It's small but it's definitely there: Hail! Thankfully today the sun is back and back to the outdoors we went! Fall is coming for sure, but I guess that's okay: holidays and food...yummy!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun! ( The Good in Life) - Updated!

Last night was such a blast! Some ladies from our ward had a girls night out...and we went a little crazy! First we stopped at Olive Garden (I'll post those pictures when I get them), then we headed to my friend Kristen's house to watch "Made of Honor, then off we went frolicking in the night:):):) Okay, we have such a fun group of ladies, isn't everyone jealous?! We had so many yummy treats!

I think I ate almost all of the M&M's...they were just so good!
So, let me explain these pictures!! One of the ladies went home after Olive Garden instead of hanging with the crew. (She really wanted to finish Breaking Dawn). So we thought we would send a little Edward her way. (Twilight book stuff) On the cover of Twilight is a picture of hands holding an apple...so we appled this ladies house! We made a little note form Edward, stopped at Safeway to get some apples, took bites out of them, cause that's what Edward would do, and left them on her front porch. Of course we also howled at the moon, and wanted to only take one car so we all managed to somehow fit into my Acura MDX, I know, we're amazing! The next morning I found out that some of the girls went out after our fun and "feathered" someone's house! This person was the one who came up with all of this craziness, so she needed a little fun at her house too! I'll get photos of that soon too! If you've read the 4th book in the series you'll know why we used feathers...! I'll update the post when I get more photos! (We miss you Carlie and Colleen! Don't ya wish you were in Washington now??) More Photos:

Apple Prank Prep, yes we're that crazy! Apple Prank Feathering Prank: Wish I were there! (Oh Edward!!)

Sad, Angry & Disturbed

As I was flipping through the channels last night I came across the Oprah show, which is usually a rerun of the afternoon show. I don't normally watch this show, but something about the audience's faces made me wonder what the topic was about. I saw faces of horror and disgust...sadness. I watched for the next five minutes and then instead of going back to my regular show I turned off the TV, went up bed and read my scriptures. I felt like I was going to explode with this flood of emotion. I couldn't stop crying and I had to keep praying to help me sleep through the night. Maybe this hit me harder because of my past, but I think anyone would be affected by what was discussed. The topic was Child Predators: Take action now. This is of course nothing new to be heard, but the part I saw was unbelievable to say the least. I won't go into too much detail, but I guess there are kits people can buy online to start this disgusting cycle. The kit gives in detail how to start with infants and go on up in age. It comes with a camera, but says video is better and then of course they post it online. What they do to these infants is terrible, and I hope no one takes offense to this post. If you want to check out more you can go to her website http://www.oprah.com/index. After seeing just the five minutes it really made me think of what I watch on TV and how desensitizing it could be making me and anyone else watching those shows. What do you think? Not a great topic, I know, but I'm curious to know your feelings on the matter. All I can say is be careful what your kids are doing (watching on tv and online) and be weary of whose house they go to. All of you are AMAZING parents, and I am glad to be associated with good people who have high standards and morals. God Bless!

More Sun Fun!

Rachel really wanted to try out this frog pool, so I finally set it up. I wish I would have bought it sooner! The girls loved it (although it was meant for just Jayden). I was able to fill the small part with warm water and then they had cold sprinkling on them ....thanks sunshine!

My little Monkey!

Jayden got this baby for her birthday and just loves it!! She's always giving it kisses and playing with it. What a sweetie!
Here's the little monkey part!! She is just innocently playing with a car, and then, as quick as a wink, she's on the chair!!!
What?? I'm innocent!

What to do on a sunny Day?

Here in Washington summer has just started! (Hee,hee) For the next week we're supposed to have beautiful, perfect weather!! We've been playing in the backyard and going to parks all week. we've been having such a great time! Next week, we might even venture out to green lake, I need the exercise! I guess we'll see. Sorry so many pic.'s of Jayden, she's just so cute!

I love her smile!!!!
Rachel is the photographer with any pictures of me, so that's why they look funny...or maybe it's just ME!

My 1st Birthday!

Friday Jayden turned ONE!!!! The time flew by way too fast! I took a couple pictures of her, but the real celebration wasn't until Saturday. We had a carnival type party (carnival food), and we had a blast! Even Jayden seemed to know it was a special day for her. I've attached a slide show...the second one is the same, I don't know what I'm doing wrong!! Sorry!! Jayden is such an angel and impossibly perfect addition to our family. She is ALWAYS happy and loves her big sister to death. I can tell they will be great friends. She started walking about 3 weeks ago, a little wobbly at first, but now she's a pro, unless she's tired. Her party was today at noon, and this morning at 9:30 I finished her first year album!!! I started working on it a couple weeks ago, and it's finally completed, except for the journaling! but that can be done while watching a movie:):) We just love her to death and are so happy to have her in our lives. Enjoy the pic.'s of our cuteness!
