Baby Logan

My cousin Michelle gave birth to a handsome baby boy on May 20. He is such a cutie! We visited at the hospital and I wanted to hold him forever!! Congrats Michelle! I like how Jayden is looking at us in this picture. Too cute:):):) She loves that baby Logan!

I LOVE my job!!

For Mother's Day, Brett sent his mother and I to scrap book for the day! (Saturday) We both had a great time and now I'm only a year behind!:):) Like my shingles?:) On Sunday morning Rachel and Brett brought me breakfast in bed. Jayden was still asleep and we couldn't wait for her since we had 9am church:) Rachel thought a good breakfast consisted of a maple bar doughnut, a blueberry muffin and a glass of orange juice! NICE! She also made me a cute card which she was very proud to show me:)I usually don't look that bad in the morning! The shingles would make my eye swell up every morning. Lucky me! After church we headed to my mom's house to have a yummy dinner! It was requested that we have the Garlic-Rosemary pork loin again from Our Best Bites, so I delivered! Yes, those are paper plates. My mom insisted! Not a very good shot, but there we are! My mom and my brother Lance. He made her a card, which she loves! It was also requested I make a chocolate cake and a good friend of mine gave me this recipe! I'm not a huge cake fan, but this was delicious!!! Lance and the girls had to go back for seconds! Happy Mother's Day!

Muffins for Moms!

Rachel's school puts on this fun breakfast every year for moms and their kiddos! Rachel and I were a little tired. We both stayed up too late! I am sporting a new look called spider bites from the garage. Will I ever look normal again?:):):) Afterward we (all the parents) gave Mrs. Ryan her gift cards and flowers for teacher appreciation! She loved them! Micheal's and Regal Cinemas, watch out! Thanks for being such a great teacher Mrs. Ryan!!

LOOK WHAT CAME TODAY!!!!

I'm soooo excited!! So nicely packaged! BEAUTIFUL!!! I can't wait to decorate the room!! Oh, the detail!!! The cute pillowcase! Each of the girls get one of these quilts for their room!! It is a super late Christmas gift from mom, dad and the grandparents. That's back order for you:):):)But now the fun can begin!!

Teacher Appreciation!

Rachel has a pretty awesome kindergarten teacher! After a week of small fun gifts, Rachel and I decided to make this cool clipboard. This was my first attempt so be nice:):) Mod Podge isn't as easy as some people (miss creative Kelli) say it is! Or I'm just really impatient:):) Mrs. Ryan's favorite color is blue so we incorporated some in here:) Rachel was very proud!

Michelle's Baby Shower

My cousin Michelle is about to have a baby boy named Logan!! I am so excited for her and for me...I'm going to kidnap him but she doesn't know yet, shhh!!! Her theme was The Very Hungry Caterpillar! Isn't this cute! some kids painted it...and then Kelli (the other host and good friend) made it look like this:):) She's just talented that way! We had some pretty yummy food, at least I think so:) lemon blueberry muffins, cran-orange muffins, ham and roasted pepper quiches, lemon-cloud cupcakes with white chocolate frosting! Are you drooling yet? I thought so! Kelli also made these super yummy sugar cookies in the shape of a fruit with a bite taken out of them. The cookies were the favors and seriously oh so mouthwatering!! We also had fruit, veggies and juice of course! It's a little hard to see, but Kelli made this super cute banner for Logan! I told you she was talented!! Michelle's Aunt and cousins made her this cool diaper cake! I think I'm the only here that's not so talented!:):) Me with my super cool oil burn on my lip, the beautiful and glowing Michelle and the Oh so talented Kelli!! Michelle's good friend Rebecca also hosted with us and let us use her house and there are no photos of her!!! Sorry Rebecca!!! Everyone having fun! Congrats Michelle!! Can't wait to meet him!!

Happy Birthday Uncle Lance!

My brother and good friend Lance, just turned 28!! We just love him so much and can't imagine life without him:) He came over for a yummy dinner of Filet Mignon, Asparagus and twice baked potatoes! He wanted a cherry pie for dessert, so I put my mom in charge, but since the cherry pie's were sooo expensive :):) she bought a razzleberry pie (frozen!) Not my kind of thing, but lance enjoyed it! (not worthy of a picture either:):))) Outside fun with Lance and Bolt, our new fearless wagon puller!! Wagon fun with Grandpa Bob. The daredevil Jayden on the swing... she really has no fear! Happy Birthday Lance!

A few weeks ago, the family went to the YMCA to check it out since it was National Kids Health Day. They had many fun activities and fun things for the kids to do, but my girls really enjoyed these noses:):) The Jayders! What a personality! Rachel also showing off her face/hand painting! Thanks YMCA for a day of fun!

While a good friend of mine was in Ecuador visiting family she picked up these dresses for my girls! Aren't they sweet? Thanks Nena! After I got the girl's pictures, Rachel had to take one of me. Sorry that you have to see this:(

Easter Sunday

This Easter was fabulous! Our family was able to hear from our church's living prophet and then spend the day with our eternal families. Who could ask for more? The girls were very excited to check out their baskets, but of course Rachel woke up first. I bought her some flash cards to help her learn the articles of faith. She was so excited that she had to read them ALL to me that very second! Jayden heard the commotion and came down to find a new church book, "I am a Child of God". She wouldn't stop saying, "look mom, I am a child of God!" Too cute! They also received a new bath towel and 3D puzzles! What a yummy breakfast: candy! This was our real breakfast: homemade cinnamon rolls from Our Best Bites! Sooo Good!!! Later that day we had family over for a super yummy meal!! I made homemade rolls from yet a gain, Our Best Bites and they super light and fluffy! I think I've found a new roll recipe! WE also had asparagus, but I forgot to set them out for the picture, darn! Our Best Bites was my hero today as I also got this yummy recipe from there! Mint brownies...sooooo yummy!!!! My family wouldn't stop eating them! The girls at their little table. They thought they were pretty special to get their own table! The family: Lance, Aunt Sherri, Grandma Taz, Dad, Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Bob! My little sweetie Jayden! Rachel was jealous and had to have her picture taken too! I don't mind! Rachel is explaining to her Uncle Lance how to have an Easter Egg hunt! Too funny! Brett had to hold VERY still for this hunt! We decided to take the hunt outside, since it wasn't raining. Gasp!! I think Lance and Grandpa Bob had more fun hiding the eggs than the girls did finding them:) Time to hunt! Eggs Galore! Everywhere! Rachel is tricky when getting her eggs. She even found the one up high!! Happy Easter!
