Celebrate!

My calling in church is the Stake Primary Secretary and I work with some fabulous people! Two of them had birthdays in December and we celebrated with a dinner at my house. We had garlic rosemary pork loin with roasted potatoes and asparagus and homemade rolls. So yummy!! Yes, I've made this before, but it's sooo yummy!! Notice yet another banner:):) The birthday girl: Debbie! The birthday kids: Buzz and Debbie. I love that I caught this look on Buzz's face. I can't wait until he sees this! My fabulous presidency members: Melanie, Buzz, Debbie and Kim Another good one of Buzz while he eats his lava cake and ice cream. I'm starting to think he does this on purpose:) Of course I had to get a shot of myself in there somewhere:) Happy birthday Buzz and Debbie! I LOVE working with you two!

Just like big sister!

The other day Jayden discovered how to play in a toy box. Rachel made this discovery at an earlier age, but they both played in it the same way. Too cute!! Even though I was watching her the whole time, this scared me just a little:( You are too cute Jayden!!

Baby shower fun

A good friend of mine is having a boy in March and I wanted to throw her a shower so I'm posting a few pictures for her:) Her colors are blue and green and of course we had to have some yummy food! I love this food! Don't these look heavenly? They were!! I couldn't stop eating them!! These were pretty yummy too! Spinach and red pepper quiches:) OF course I made a banner. I love banners! In fact, I think I'm obsessed! ME and my friend Sarah! Isn't she a cute pregnant lady?:) Of course she got a ton of presents and it was fun watching her open them:) Her mother bought her this monkey because she thought the monkey's tummy looked like Sarah's. Too cute!! Sarah and her girls Aly and Desy. Congrats Sarah!!

Another fish in the family!

Jayden was so excited to finally start swim lessons! She has been watching Rachel for quite some time now and it's finally her turn! She loves it!! She's not scared at all and loves her teacher! She can even put her goggles on by herself! So cold waiting for her turn to jump in. Her teacher was surprised that she just jumped right in without coaxing. go Jayden!!

FINALLY!

Rachel has finally learned how to ride her bike without training wheels!! This is probably due to the fact that we never ride bikes because we don't have the street for it. She finally caught on though and loves it!! Note to Brett: Next time you take photos of Rachel riding her bike without training wheels please have her wear appropriate clothing, please use the flash or go out during the day, please shoot a few shots from the front so we can see her face and please buy her a bike that fits!! She's huge!! We're working on getting her a new bike as we speak:):) Jayden was out there cheering her on and Brett snapped this photo of her:) LOVE IT!!!

one shot of random cuteness:)

The cuteness of the girls

One of the favorite things to do by my girls: make a picnic! They also love to dance for people. Aren't they adorable?!! I love my girls! They are so fun and cute!!

December Snow

Ironically, the day I'm posting this (Feb. 23rd) we have snow outside today!:):) This was way back in December when we had a fun snow day with the kids:) They loved it!! We started the morning with some random photos. Yes, I'm checking out The Pioneer Woman blog in the background:) The girls decided to pose and show their spunky spirits! I love your attitude Jayden!! We finally go out in the snow and the girls are just smiling away! Rachel started collecting snow in her bucket while Jayden laid down and made a snow angel. Then dad came outside and started a snow ball fight!! Go Dad!! I had to get one shot of my cute girls:):) Then they thought jumping on the trampoline would be fun, which it was:) Then they went down the slide which was also fun and a little crazy:) Jayden got cold and therefore a little grumpy:( Brett distracted her by building a snowman This was not good snow for a snowman:) The best part about playing in snow is getting hot cocoa with sprinkles on it! yum!
