Merry Christmas!

Our Christmas this year was pretty low key, but kinda nice that way:) The tree and presents are ready! Rachel's excitement Jayden's excitement She really didn't know what to do! Where to begin?! hula hoops first, then the stroller, and then the stockings! Rachel just dumped hers out so of course, Jayden had to grab hers. Nothing would dump out, so she had to pull her toys out. Puppets, a new fork and spoon and then time to open presents! Rachel so kindly sorted them out for us! Dad got a new fox wallet Mom got her new clock! Jayden got a new ABC toy, and Rachel got a "pretend" American Girl doll:) Another game for dad's collection: Forza 3!! Brett also gave some lotions and soaps, the ones I use not the stinky ones!:):) The happy clan with the gifts! Mom and Dad finally waking up:):) The aftermath of Christmas and Rachel playing with her new doll house form Santa! Time for the yummy hootenanny pancake and bacon breakfast! FAMILY CHRISTMAS! I'm missing some picture so I'll have to make another post later:):):) Grandpa Bob got the movie Clue and his favorite of all: chocolate chips! My mom received a calendar featuring women from the Old Testament! Me and my cute girls! The best gift of all! Merry Christmas!

Christmas Sunday

Christmas Eve Fun

On Christmas Eve I had a few families from church over. The kids had a blast and were a little too excited for Christmas to come:) We started out with the yummy food! (potato skins, quesadillas, pigs in a blanket, chicken and spinach pasta and some super yummy cupcakes! We also had a fun craft: winter buddy puppets! And of course we decorated gingerbread men! Oh so cute and yummy! Rachel finished off the evening with a cute pose of course! Wish I would have taken more pictures, but this is it!

Christmas in kindergarten

I forgot my camera for Rachel's Holiday party at school, but here she is holding the gingerbread houses they made. Her party was so much fun with all the different stations of activities and games. Rachel does not look her usual self due to a run in with a friend's fireplace:):) The next day was her school sing-a-long! Rachel was so happy to see us, and to sing! Dad and Jayden enjoying the festivities! Even the teachers got up to sing. You can't tell, but Rachel's teacher has a Rudolph nose on...too cute! Jayden and dad are just too cute! Notice how my pictures have that white glow.. problem solved! I cleaned the lens:):):) The kids were ecstatic when Clifford and the teddy bear came out to sing and dance:) Crazy shot of us, but I had to get one:) Happy singing everyone!

Early Christmas!

Since Brett's mom is leaving Wednesday for Ohio, we celebrated Christmas early! Jayden started the day with marshmallows! aren't they just so sweet?! Me and Brett trying to take our own photo! Jayden's cute outfit! Gma Taz in her new sweater! She also received a plane kit: Twilight, Hershey kisses, fancy m&m's, and Cheetos! Rachel started with an ornament from Grandma. Then moved on to The Frog Princess madness!! (They saw the movie Friday!). Polly pockets for starters... and a night gown, coloring books and the book! Jayden starts with her ornament and moves on to Tickle Me Elmo (thanks Grandma!) and a Tinkerbell writing book! Jayden loved her Elmo, and Rachel loved her books! Jayden especially loved it when Elmo started laughing! Finally, our yummy Christmas Ham dinner!! We had a great time! Thanks Grandma!!
