July 4th Celebration

Some added photos: can you see where Jack is trying to eat someone's food, and where his dad his later eating every last drop of homemade ice cream? Too funny!! My blog and camera are giving me issues so hopefully everyone can read this! The 4th of July was a great day. We had some friends over for a BBQ and then Rachel went to see fireworks without me. Someone had to stay home with the baby! Here are a few shots from the BBQ. Since my camera is acting up I only got a few shots in. Thankfully I have an awesome friend who also took some pictures! When I get those I will post more, for my benefit of course and to torture all of you!! Ha, ha! Everyone chillin on the perfect day! Jayden in all of her cuteness! See how my camera makes her look like an angel? Little Jack Nedry. He was chasing after my birthday balloon for most of the evening...so cute! That balloon sure made it's rounds. Looks like Olivia and Nolan are having a turn:) The Godsey sisters! My brother Lance, his wife Angela, and my cutie Jayden. They look so comfortable with a baby:):) Rachel chowing down her cheeseburger: like mother like daughter! Little baby Godsey, so precious!! (I'm afraid to post the Godsey names fearing I might misspell them, sorry!!) Cameo made this delicious and festive cake! Isn't it beautiful?!?!?!!! More pic's to come soon!

A Golden Birthday!

Soo...here are some random photos in no particular order from my party that I wanted to add on. Mostly for me and my brother Dylan:)

The Gifts:)
I decorated the tables simple: 30 confetti and mini candy bars (not shown, sorry) The Food: two kinds of yummy pasta, salad, rolls, and strawberry lemonade! Feast your eyes on these bad boys!
Thanks to "Our Best Bites" blog for the yummy recipe!
Let's eat and get this party started!
And now time for the presents...
fortune cookies: I could use 30 good fortunes!
pencils: Rachel is set for this fall!
Are you sure there are exactly 30 cookies in here?
This person cheated and bought me a real gift besides the cookies!
30 items that begin or have an "S" on them...pretty smart thinking!
My best friend Tamra couldn't make it, but she made up for not being there in the gift: A bag full of Estee Lauder!!! (don't worry, this was all free for her:))
Lindt chocolate balls, bring it on!
I thought this was 30 Altoids...but in reality it was
3o gold coins. Yup, pretty cool and they are real! (3 people went in on this together!)
I got this really cute mini puzzle of Christ and a child. I'm not laughing at the puzzle, but something the giver said to me. I definitely laughed a TON that evening!
30 scrapbooking papers!
My brother bought me 30 blue plates and 30 Junior Mints! interesting choice Lance!
The best gift by far was from my brother Dylan! He lives in California and couldn't make it so he mailed me a box and inside were different bags of funny items:) Shown here are the 30 plastic knives he gave me. On each one was written "not ok to throw at..." and then he put various names on them. One knife said "ok to throw at Lance!" Too funny!
The judges deliberating over who should win the prizes!
The prizes of course were big candy bars! Debbie is looking at her husband here to make sure she's picking the right candy bar:) The winners were: most yummy - cookies, most useful - the dollar coins, most creative - 30 items with "S", most silly (not pictured) - denture cleaning tablets!, and most cool (not pictured) - 30 marbles, just in case I start to lose mine:)
Rachel didn't get me a gift, but instead the cutest princess card. Some of my new names, according to the card: ruler of the flying unicorns, her royal awesomeness, Princess lovely locks, the wise, ruler of the Enchanted Forest, ruler of the Sparkling Springs, and the empress angel eyes. Thanks Rachel!
She was so excited to get me knee pads and a new volleyball. She did not play the game, but I loved the gift just the same. You're the best Rachel!
Last minute gift, which was by far the most fun to open: a bag full of 30 Easter eggs. Inside each egg: various gummies, sour and non-sour alike! You know me well Michelle!
The best part of the whole evening was watching people try and eat those chocolate cupcakes. It was hilarious!
Thanks Brian, for making me laugh!
At the END of the party I finally was able to mingle with the guests!
Thanks everyone for making this day so special...more pictures to come. Yes, there are more!!!
