Merry Christmas!

One bad thing about having a digital camera is that I tend to take too many photos and then I can't decide which ones to blog, so you get to look at all these nonsense pictures just to make me happy:):) Brett's mom came over early Christmas morning to watch the unwrapping of Christmas presents. The girls were so excited they woke up at 5:30, but I made them stay in my bed until 7:) Here's Rachel's stocking. She really wanted a Leapster and even though I know she is too old for it, Santa brought her one:) At least it can passed on to Jayden right? Jayden's stocking and a doctor set from Santa Our poorly decorated tree that I was too lazy to fix up nice:( My favorite part of the morning!!! I love to see their faces when they come down the stairs. I think the pictures says it all! Rachel found her stocking right away and since Jayden is fairly new at this she just followed sister. Then we directed her to her own stocking and she was quite excited! Rachel received a letter from Santa. She couldn't believe it! The craziness of stocking fun...and now on to the presents! We bought Brett's mom a massage cushion. I think she liked it:) I would like it:):) She gave Brett a belgian waffle maker, which we have been wanting forever!! and she gave me a steam mop which I LOVE!!!! The girls were excited to get their very own Nutcrackers, especially after seeing the ballet. A good friend of mine made them these pillow cases. They have been sleeping on them ever since! I just love this pose! Rachel has been wanting a Liv doll for a while and while I dislike buying Barbies I bought her a couple. Happy face! We always get the girls a church related item and Jayden loved this book and also two DVDs from the Living Scriptures:) The girls picked out these lovely skull pj's for dad. He got a good laugh out of that:) Brett was pretty cute and wrapped my camera and lens boxes along with my Eclipse DVD. Every year Brett gets one of these. How else is he going to keep up his FOX look? Rachel's loot:) The aftermath The love Rachel sucking on a ring pop and playing her new Leapster:) Jayden playing with her Tag Junior with Grandma Taz And finally breakfast!! Biscuits and gravy, pancakes with fruit and whipped cream, bacon and OJ. Love breakfast food!! Merry Christmas!! Way to look at all of my ridiculous photos!!!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was pretty low key, which is nice:) WE had Brett's mom over for dinner and the girls unwrapped their pj's:) They're pretty cute! I am the grill master! Isn't Brett cute? Can you tell I'm addicted to food? We had some pretty yummy Rib Eye Steak for dinner! The Angels:) After dinner we let our food settle and played Go Fish! I just couldn't resist posting this picture! Such a personality! Jayden was pretty silly. She took one end of this ribbon and then expected someone to pull her around the room:) Instead, Dad attacked her! I think she was pretty happy! Time for presents! fun slippers and cute pajamas and cute girls:):):)

Family Photos

For our Christmas photos this year we of course were running late, as usual!! We headed over to Greenlake with a good friend and she snapped a few photos before we got too cold. We were only there about ten minutes max because we are wimpy!!! But then we were happy because our reward was Red Mill Burgers!!! Yum!!! After a few tries we found one we liked. (My blog picture above:)) Brett took this of the girls and myself. I love them so much!! (In the background is our friend's son Mayson. He is such a goofball!)

Christmas Dresses

This year for Christmas dresses I was going to do a brown theme. I found Jayden's dress last year at The Gap on clearance...love it!!! So this year I was searching for something that caught my eye for Rachel. Nothing really caught my eye, but my mom and I found this dress that is black with champagne color and gold in it. I'm not a huge fan of black and brown together, but hopefully it works. They're so stinkin cute that it doesn't really matter any way! I took some shots for Grandpa and this is what we got: They both look so grown up!! What is happening here?!! I love this! Brett was showing Jayden what to do, but I think it's cute:) Jayden's turn! I love the fun aspect of this photo. They are just darling! This was Sunday morning after church. We were running too late before church, so this is all I got. I wanted a picture with Rachel, but she had already changed. Oh well:)
