Family Photos

For our Christmas photos this year we of course were running late, as usual!! We headed over to Greenlake with a good friend and she snapped a few photos before we got too cold. We were only there about ten minutes max because we are wimpy!!! But then we were happy because our reward was Red Mill Burgers!!! Yum!!! After a few tries we found one we liked. (My blog picture above:)) Brett took this of the girls and myself. I love them so much!! (In the background is our friend's son Mayson. He is such a goofball!)

Christmas Dresses

This year for Christmas dresses I was going to do a brown theme. I found Jayden's dress last year at The Gap on clearance...love it!!! So this year I was searching for something that caught my eye for Rachel. Nothing really caught my eye, but my mom and I found this dress that is black with champagne color and gold in it. I'm not a huge fan of black and brown together, but hopefully it works. They're so stinkin cute that it doesn't really matter any way! I took some shots for Grandpa and this is what we got: They both look so grown up!! What is happening here?!! I love this! Brett was showing Jayden what to do, but I think it's cute:) Jayden's turn! I love the fun aspect of this photo. They are just darling! This was Sunday morning after church. We were running too late before church, so this is all I got. I wanted a picture with Rachel, but she had already changed. Oh well:)

Early Christmas

I received an early Christmas present in the mail...can you guess what it is? I used it to take these fun photos of the girls:):) Gotta love chocolate! Gotta love silly faces!

Santa Fun

Jayden loves reading about Santa and seeing Christmas decorations that are Santa themed, but you get her near a Santa and her life is over!! I tried to get a picture with her and Santa at our ward breakfast. She was not happy! Brett took to the mall with her preschool friends and tried for another Santa shot there. Since Brett is with her she seemed to do okay. Hopefully next year all her fears will be gone so we can get a non-parent Santa shot!

The Nutcracker

Some friends from church and the neighborhood got together and went to a field trip production of The Nutcracker! Rachel and Jayden were so excited! They wouldn't let us take any pictures of the ballet dancers during the show, so you get to see more pictures of the girls!:) A little shot of the girls beforehand. Rachel loves having her matching doll!! Grandma Taz was able to come with us. The girls loved dressing up and looking pretty for our little adventure. My beautiful Jayden Right before it started we got a quick shot of us 3. Not a good angle:):) A preschool friend, Kade and his mom Leah. (an awesome friend of mine:)) After the show there was this cute little chair that made for a good picture of my angels!

Seattle Excursion!

Earlier in December a few friends from church and I took our kiddos to Seattle to see the train display, ride on the monorail, ride the carousel and check out the gingerbread houses. Needless to say, I was a little camera happy. Meaning? LOTS OH PICTURES!!! We got to Seattle and started with lunch. With a carrot in her mouth Jayden started posing for me. She was cracking me up and was so smiley all day long! Her second pose...too funny! The train display:) Jayden, Jack and another friend were seriously checking something out. What could it be? A Hot Air Balloon!! Our awesome group headed to the monorail. All aboard! Jayden and her future husband Ethan. They loved it!! i had to get in there:) PRECIOUS! Last Year she was afraid of the carousel, but she was all over it this year! She even got on TV. :) Total Jayden pose! the gingerbread houses were so cool!! Here's our awesome stroller group checking it all out. THis just makes me smile:) And a group shot. There goes Jayden posing again! i really don't know where she gets this! Jayden and ethan were so cute!!!! Every time they would run they would laugh at one another and then do it again. Oh to be young again! I don't know why but I see them as teenagers here. Christmas at Preschool

At the beginning of the month Jayden's preschool put on a little program/potluck dinner. The girls got dressed up and looked so cute! I love this shot! Beautiful smiles! When we got there Jayden hesitantly put on her costume and stood next to everyone else. This is how she was almost the entire time. Keep in mind that this is both classes combined so many kids here are older than her. She was not happy! At least she wasn't the only one...look to the left and there is another girl clinging to her mother:) Jayden warmed up a tiny bit and was able to say her part super quietly. Just has she was coming out of her shell who should appear??????? SANTA!!! Her least favorite person, but only in person. Pictures of him are fabulous:):) Please someone, get me out of here! Don't make me look at him:):) Jayden and mom after calming down and ready to eat and play. It was an interesting night and hopefully it will go much smoother next year:)
