Craven Farm Field Trip

Jayden's preschool class had a fun little field trip to the pumpkin patch. It was supposed to rain that day, but we lucked out with sunshine! I didn't even need a jacket:):) Jayden was a little grouchy at first...this is in the midst of her throwing a fit. Then she saw some baby chicks and she was happy! we also came across this fun duck. If we got too close to his ladies he spread his wings and we backed off...scary! A pumpkin's interpretation of UP! pumpkin royalty! A class picture. Jayden is the one covering her ears because everyone yelled cheese too loud...wimp!:) on the search for the best pumpkin ever! found it!! She was all smiles and oh so proud. love her smiles hiding in the cornstalk. She must have spent at least ten minutes playing in there! everyone wanted a turn on the tractor... who knows?? This was too cute. She actually fit in that huge tire!! They had this truck that was just stuck in the mud...for play of course:) One of the dad's came and shook the truck. Jayden LOVED that and kept asking him to do it again and again. He was a good sport:) I thought this picture would be cute, but it toook some convincing on Jayden's part to stick her head in there:) she's just too cute! A little short but she got there! Jayden and mom. I thought this looked a little bright...the flash was on. Duh!! A little better:) What a great time... we might go again!

Ballet Professional

Rachel has just started this new ballet class and she loves it! The parents were invited to watch the other day and I only took 98 pictures! I only posted a few:):):) She wanted her hair in a bun so there it is, the smallest bun in history! After talking to a few of the moms at dance class I realized that I could have had non-panty issues if Rachel wasn't wearing any. Who knew?:):) This is her awesome teacher. Her name is Sarah, so she is extra awesome! Go Rachel! I love these pictures where they don't know they are being photographed. Doesn't she look beautiful? She is a pretty good leapster! scarf fun! This helps them to focus:) I wish this turned out better. I guess I'll just keep trying! Rachel has a great group of friends:)

We all helped to purchase a xbox controller for him and that night he used it while playing with the guys...only til midnight this year. I guess he is getting old! Brett with the ladies! We are so lucky to have you in our lives. We love being silly with you and snuggling with you. You complete us daddy!! We love you!

Three Already???!!!!

Well, then it's time to party!! We don't Monkey around here:):):) Jayden is actually quite the little Monkey, so we thought a monkey themed party would be perfect! Jayden is such a joy to have around and we are so blessed to have her in our family. We love you Jayden!! Uncle Lance got one of the first hugs of the day:) We had a super yummy spread of different pizzas, monkey bread, watermelon, chips, the list goes on! Thanks to all those that brought a little something to the party! Aren't these just the cutest? Awww....the working of a cricut user. If you know me I use a lot of color scheme and food for decor...I found this cute little monkey plate at pottery barn and I HAD to get it just for display at the party. I also found this cup that I filled with lemon drops! A super easy way to dress up a party; buy some cloth and trim the edges for a casual table runner! Brett did a fabulous job on Jayden's monkey cake! green and yellow lollipops, which also served as a favor for the kids to take home. They also colored a wooden monkey puzzle, but that picture is on another camera. Don't ask:) These are chocolate dipped bananas...and yet are they??? They did not turn out as I had imagined. I have no words!! The present station...fun for later! Was I supposed to eat that? The new three year old sporting her monkey painted tattoo:) Ethan sporting the face painted monkey properly. Jayden is such a rebel! Pinata time! What a shot!!! One of the MANY handsome fellows at the party! This was actually the highlight. After the mom's helped the kids with their swing, they almost all swung with one hand. I love it! Ethan really going for it. Look at how happy this makes them, beating up a monkey! Josh taking his turn. Way to go! Jack's running full speed ahead! I'm not sure if they knew what was supposed to happen if they broke it:) Sam was shy at first, but look at that swing! and Rachel made the final break! Lots of yummy healthy snacks in there...with a little candy:)Rachel actually looks a little disappointed here! blowing out the candles. I was NOT helping, I swear:):):) we are a happy family! The excitement of presents!! Jayden and one of her best friends Natalie helping her with the presents. Thanks Natalie! This was actually pretty cute. As she opened each present Jayden would let out a little squeal of excitement. Too cute! I just had to add this in. This is Jayden to a T! Her personality is too cute!! She didn't want her picture taken, but we got one anyway!
