Early Christmas!

Since Brett's mom is leaving Wednesday for Ohio, we celebrated Christmas early! Jayden started the day with marshmallows! aren't they just so sweet?! Me and Brett trying to take our own photo! Jayden's cute outfit! Gma Taz in her new sweater! She also received a plane kit: Twilight, Hershey kisses, fancy m&m's, and Cheetos! Rachel started with an ornament from Grandma. Then moved on to The Frog Princess madness!! (They saw the movie Friday!). Polly pockets for starters... and a night gown, coloring books and the book! Jayden starts with her ornament and moves on to Tickle Me Elmo (thanks Grandma!) and a Tinkerbell writing book! Jayden loved her Elmo, and Rachel loved her books! Jayden especially loved it when Elmo started laughing! Finally, our yummy Christmas Ham dinner!! We had a great time! Thanks Grandma!!

Teddy Bear Room & Carousel Journey

What an adventure on the coldest day of the week!! We are some crazy moms who love hanging with our kiddos! Last week some ladies and kids from church got together and ventured into Seattle. Why you ask? To see out kids have some fun! We started at The Fairmont Hotel on University st. Here's the whole lot of us! Notice all the beautiful decor! They really know how to make it feel like Christmas! Heidi and her boys, Anjee, Josh, Me, Jayden, Emily and Jack! The hotel turns one of the rooms into the Teddy Bear Room. The kids first walked in and didn't know what to do. Look at all those pretty stacked presents. Are we allowed to knock those down? Jayden found a new best friend: a teddy bear. She kept coming back to this same one:) Jayden and Jack kept trying to pull these huge green ornaments. That's why they're there right? Jayden also loved thus GIGANTIC teddy. Her and her friend look cute together:) Mom liked the big teddy too! Jayden also tried to sit on this polar bear without much success. :):) But she was really good making cool faces... and being a monkey! She also loved this red ball!! Everything was so irresistible in this room! There were teddy books scattered throughout the room. Jayden persuaded Anjee to read to her and Josh! Mom and Jayden in front of the tree. Out in the foyer was this very large beautiful tree that we had to get picture of! Emily and I in front of the tree, although you can't really see the tree:) Bundled up outside the hotel and ready for the walk to the carousel! Mom and Jayden on the pink horse. She really wasn't too thrilled until the last 20 seconds of the ride:) IT was quite the cool breeze as we rode our horses:) I had to warm up somehow...let's try being silly! After lunch at the mall and the bundled up walk back to the car, we were done for the day, and so were the kids! We had a great time. Thanks ladies!!

Rewind: these just in!

In November a fantastic friend of mine came to visit from Italy. These pictures were of a morning the kids and us got together to reunite and play! We had such a good time, and miss our friend already! The kids loved the stairs! Natalie, Jayden and Jack! They also loved clapping. They thought they were being so funny! Carlie and I with my new scarf from Italy! Emily, Carlie and Natalie (and Emily's new scarf!). Thanks for hosting this fun time Emily! We love you Carlie!!

Ward Christmas Breakfast!

Our family with a little extra glow:) Breakfast was so yummy: cassourles, muffins. doughnuts, fruit and more! Jayden was enjoying herself:) Then there were crafts! which Jayden liked to play with. If you finished all the crafts you get this: Next were musical performances, one of which was by the primary. Can you find my cute kids?:) Not good photo quality, but cute of Jayden. Finally...look who's coming to town! Santa!

Sisterly Love

Last Friday turned out to be a sunny, but VERY COLD day. I thought this would be a good chance to get some outside photos of the girls outside. They are soo sweet!!! And check out the quality of these bad boys!!! Thanks Emily for letting me use your camera, although it might not be a good thing as now I REALLY want one!! Enjoy my Angels! Last week I had my visiting teachers over for lunch and made these yummy treats! It was my first time making something other than regular cookies or brownies. Aren't they cute? I wasn't sure how they'd turn out, but they look okay, right? brownie balls covered in white chocolate and dipped in crushed candy cane:) Rice crispy ornaments! Thanks Pampered Chef!
